A long time ago, on a crowded hillside, Jesus told his followers that they are the salt of the earth, the light of the world.
This is no small calling. We are meant to illuminate this world. We are to enhance its flavor. We should preserve it, and keep the light shining in the open, never hidden away. We are called to make this place a better, richer home for us now, in anticipation of the Kingdom Come.
Right now I’m still figuring out what it means to answer that call. And I’m surrounded by people, books, and ideas that are helping me to do that. This blog is part brain-dump as I try to think through things, and part me sharing what I’ve learned along the way. Sometimes it’s both at the same time.
Currently, I’m based in Philadelphia, PA – a notoriously underrated city that I somehow never get tired of, which gives me energy and inspiration. My academic background is in Philosophy and Political Theory, and I currently work in web design and digital marketing. If you’d like to chat, shoot me an email anytime, or follow me on Twitter.
